NRI capital: two systems, one family

Global Indian wealth is often described as a corridor. It is more accurately two (or more) legal, tax and currency systems that a family must inhabit at once.

The useful picture is not a slogan about India and the world. It is a map: which capital sits where, in which currency, under which reporting duty, for which purpose, and how it can move. Until that map exists, ‘optimisation’ is a guess.
